Mark Roberts French Style Porcelain & Bronze Bird and Flower Candle Holder
While Mark Roberts is most famous for his limited-edition fairies, he also produced the prestigious "Maison du Soleil" Home Decor Collection. These high-end Chinoiserie and French-inspired accents are centerpiece-quality items found in luxury boutiques like Nordstrom and the Huntington Store. This is one of their taller pieces at 11¼" (28.5cm) tall.
Product Details:
- Hand-painted porcelain (ceramic) with a characteristic light green crackle glaze (crazing), mounted on cast bronze or brass "ormolu" style hardware.
- These pieces often feature various birds; this one appears to be a colorful sparrow-like bird perched on a bronze branch.
- The red "Mark Roberts" stamp on the bottom with the warning "Not for food purpose / For decorative use only" is the standard backstamp for his non-holiday porcelain line produced in China.

CONDITION: EXCELLENT - Excellent pre-owned condition. No chips, cracks, or repairs to the porcelain. The bronze bases are sturdy with a beautiful aged patina. The light green crackle glaze is intentional and uniform across all three pieces. Hand-painted details are vibrant. All three candlesticks look exactly the same.
