Vintage Wonder Woman Masterpiece Edition Poseable Figure w/ 1st Edition Book

She has more joints than you'd think just by looking at her. The neck turns, the shoulders & hips are jointed, and the knees are click joints covered with skin-like rubber. She has her gold "Lasso of Truth" on her belt, and her skirt is made of fabric. The included book by Les Daniels is a 1st Edition and features lots of covers and scenes from the comic books... from her first appearance in All Star Comics #8 (1941) through the Golden Age to 1948. She flew around in an invisible jet saving her boyfriend Steve Trevor from certain doom, while also dealing justice to the occasional Nazi. This figure has her dressed in her original first appearance stars and stripes outfit, armed with bullet-deflecting bracelets and a magical lasso. New in box, but the tape has hardened and fallen off one end, and cracked on the other. The box shows shelf wear (please see photos), and the plastic clamshell has yellowed with age. Figure and book are in brand-new condition. Produced in 2001 by Chronicle Books, the poseable figure measures 8.5" tall, and the hardcover book is 98 full-color pages.
