Approximately 1/350 scale kit of one the Discovery XD-1 nuclear powered deep-space research spacecraft form the classic Stanley Kubrick film "2001: A Space Odyssey". Over 17 inches long when assembled, this is a scaled down version of the Moebius 1/144 scale Discovery model kit. It still contains all of the detail from the larger kit on a smaller scale for a reduced price point. Over 200 parts with a metal rod support. All new tooling. Skill level 3. This is a model kit that requires glue, paint, and assembly.
