This beautiful National Roofing Tile Co Clay Terra Cotta French Roofing Tile was manufactured in 1908, and was reclaimed from the summer home of Booker T Washington, in Fort Salonga, NY. This was his summer residence on Long Island from 1911 until his death in 1915. Situated on a cliff overlooking Long Island Sound, this historic home is located in an erosion zone and is in danger of falling into the water. After his death, the Fort Salonga property passed into the ownership of the Huntington Land Company. Measures 15.25" x 7.25"

The National Roofing Tile Co was located in Lima, OH and was in operation from 1902-1916.
