Every collector has one... Maybe it's that action figure you got for your 17th birthday, or the toy your grandfather bought you at a state fair 30 years ago. Maybe it was a gift from your wife, back when you were still dating, or even one your kid dragged around until an arm popped off. Maybe the batteries corroded and the lights stopped working.
Whatever it is, at some point you've probably searched online for a replacement: scrolling through eBay listings, hoping to find the exact same toy in the exact same condition, just so you can have "one that works" again.
That toy already exists... It's yours! And more often than you'd think, I can fix it!
Why Repair Beats Replace
A replacement toy might look the same, but it isn't really. It didn't survive your childhood, it doesn't have the scuff mark from the time you dropped it off the porch, or the marker stain from your little sister's "art project." Sentimental toys carry real history that a replacement from an online listing simply won't replicate.
Repairing what you already have also tends to be more affordable than hunting down a rare, mint-condition replacement; some of which can carry surprisingly high price tags for collectible or discontinued toys. BONUS: it's also better for the planet than tossing something broken and buying a replacement.
What We Can Fix
At LI Toy & Game, we repair action figures and toys of all kinds; electronic or not. That includes:
- Broken or loose joints
- Missing or broken parts
- Non-working lights or sound features
- Electronic toys that have stopped functioning
- General wear-and-tear damage
- Corroded battery terminals

We give estimates at drop-off, though the final cost can vary a bit depending on how long the repair takes and what parts are needed. And here's our promise to you: No Fix, No Fee. If we can't repair it, you don't pay a dime... Simple as that!
Bring In YOUR Toy — Not Just Any Toy
So before you spend hours scrolling through listings trying to track down a "new" version of an old favorite, stop by first. That worn, well-loved toy sitting in a drawer or a box in the attic might be closer to working again than you think; and it'll still be yours: scuffs, history, and all.
