Revell SR-71 Blackbird 1/72 Scale Plastic Model Kit
From Revell comes this beautiful SR-71 Blackbird with GTD-21 Surveillance Drone 1/72 scale plastic model kit. The drone can be mounted either on the Blackbird or on it's service cart. Includes marking for several versions. Measures 18.5" long when completed, for ages 12 and up. This is a model kit molded in black that requires glue and paint to assemble. This unique airplane flew over Mach 3 (2100 mph) in the thin, outer reaches of the atmosphere at altitudes that are still classified. With high-tech electronic equipment on board, it gathered strategic reconnaissance information for the U.S. military for over 25 years.
